Chamada Prestige Hotel & Casino (Kyrenia, Çatalköy)

📍 Cesur Sokak No:4, Çatalköy, Kyrenia

It is easy to be taken in by those enchanting seaside photos on travel agency pages, until you scroll down to the information line and notice that it says distance to the beach 1.5 kilometres. One and a half kilometres. Shuttle times, the pool layout, the reviews all come back to this point. The hotel is a large all-inclusive property operating with 286 rooms in Çatalköy, but unlike Cratos, Elexus and Acapulco, its beach is not in its own garden. To make the decision clearer, we examined the operation under four critical headings: how the beach shuttle actually runs, the real scope of the all-inclusive package, the physical facilities offered to families with children, and how the winter schedule affects operations.

Discover the Eastern Wing of Çatalköy

The address is Cesur Sokak No 4, Çatalköy, and it helps to know from the outset that this is not a neighbourhood of Kyrenia. Çatalköy is a settlement standing on its own east of the town, seven kilometres by car from the centre. A guest who wants to go down to the bazaar in the evening factors that distance in from the start. Kyrenia's casino traffic is also concentrated on this wing. Cratos and Elexus stand right next to the hotel, and Acapulco is on the same stretch. The western cluster, where Merit and Kaya Palazzo line up, is at the other end of the town.

Although the address has stayed the same for years, the hotel's name has changed. The building was once known as "Malpas Hotel & Casino" and changed hands on 26 August 2021. When the operating company took its current name on 18 August 2023, the hotel became "Chamada Prestige" too. Anyone searching under the old name ends up at the same door, and some booking sites still redirect the Malpas address here.

Chamada Prestige Hotel & Casino (Kyrenia, Çatalköy)

286 Rooms, Ruby and Diamond in the Annex

The corporate page gives the room count as 286. The room types fall under five headings: Deluxe Land Side, Deluxe Sea Side, Deluxe Suite, and the Ruby and Diamond rooms in the annex building. Since the last two types stand in a separate block, the walk to the lobby is a little longer from those rooms; we suggest asking about this when booking. Land or sea side only changes the view; the distance to the beach is the same for both.

1.5 Kilometres to the Beach, Shuttle on the Hour

Although the grounds of Chamada Prestige are enormous, they are not right on the sea… That is why daytime beach time happens at the Chamada Beach Club, 1.5 km away.

Opening Hours: 10.00 - 18.00
Free Shuttle (Outbound): From the hotel every hour on the hour from 10.00 in the morning.
Free Shuttle (Return): From the club at a quarter past every hour.

As for the facility itself, it reopened on 11 May 2026 after a complete renovation, so the setting is brand new. Because the shuttle leaves on the hour, your day is built around those times; a guest who returns to the hotel for lunch only gets back to the sea on the next vehicle. Instead of grabbing a towel and walking straight down to the sand, you wait for the shuttle first. Things are different at the neighbouring properties: nearly a kilometre of beach stretches in front of Acapulco, Elexus runs its own sandy beach, and Cratos has a platform alongside the sand. If you are prepared to go down once in the morning and come back in the evening, the system causes no trouble.

Three Pools and Meal Times

With no beach at the hotel, the day is spent by the pool. This side consists of three parts: alongside a large outdoor pool there is a heated indoor pool and a small children's pool. Since all three are within the garden, a pool day depends not on the shuttle but on meal times. And what sets those times is the package itself.

Because the concept is not ultra all-inclusive, the limits of the package are set as much by the timetable as by the menu. Breakfast is served between 07.00 and 11.00 in winter and 07.00 and 10.30 in summer. Lunch runs from 12.30 to 14.30 and dinner from 18.30 to 21.00, while the Lobby Bar opens at eight in the morning and closes at midnight in winter and at two in summer. Late risers therefore have a slightly harder time on the summer schedule.

The package stops at two restaurants, Chamada Balık Restoran and Ocakbaşı A La Carte. Both are charged and fall outside the package. Terrace Cafe & Bar, which serves shisha, and Chamada Lounge are also out of scope. To compare with the neighbours, Elexus has switched to full all-inclusive from 15 May 2026, and Acapulco sells four separate concepts. Here there is a single concept, so the same package always sits beneath the price you see.

The Spa Floor and the Casino

Even though the hotel runs an all-inclusive concept, do not forget that massages and treatments on the spa floor are subject to an extra charge.. Only honeymoon couples get a special massage discount. Apart from that, the sauna, hammam, steam room, fitness area and heated indoor pool are also located on this floor.

The hotel also has a casino bearing its own name, with a separate entrance. Compared with neighbours such as Cratos and Elexus, its gaming hall is more boutique in scale. Two strict rules apply at the casino door: those who have not turned 25 and residents of North Cyprus are not admitted.

Caramel Mini Club, Winter Calendar

The kids' club is called Caramel Mini Club and its age range runs from zero to eight; the upper half of the range, that is ages five to eight, is free of charge. There is not a single line on the hotel's pages about a fee or a babysitting arrangement for younger children, and we are not going to guess; that is a question you ask when booking. Is your child after a water slide? They will not find one here, because the property has no aquapark, and the address for that in Çatalköy is neighbouring Acapulco.

Beyond that, the island's tourism reflexes have changed considerably since those old trips of ours. As frequently emphasised in the current tourism reports for 2026 in particular, Kyrenia's big casino hotels have completely abandoned the habit of pulling down the shutters in the winter months. From November through April the same all-inclusive concept continues without interruption, with only the opening hours adjusted to winter conditions.

Price Band and Tripadvisor Rating

It is not only the hours that shift in winter; prices also move with the date. In searches for August and September 2026, the nightly figures seen for a Deluxe room for two spread across a wide band from 13,000 to 20,300 TL. We checked twice, and the range really is that wide. The date makes the difference: 13,000 comes up on autumn-discount days, 20,300 on the winter list. That is why we suggest looking not at the figure but at the date the figure was quoted for.

Ratings are steadier than prices. Chamada Prestige holds a 4.8 rating on Tripadvisor with 1,357 reviews. The sub-scores for location, rooms, cleanliness and service sit at the same level as the overall rating. The items praised are cleanliness, room comfort, food variety and the staff, while criticism gathers around the narrow scope of the package, the perceived price and the distance to the beach. In reviews dated August 2026, the topic mentioned first is once again the beach distance. Those who came knowing this did not mind much; those who were caught by surprise wrote about it.
